Model Railroading > Bowser sd40-2f locosDate: 09/11/23 17:07 Bowser sd40-2f locos Author: RogersPass Hi all, I have a few of these Bowser Locos and just a few months ago got some Sd30cECO ones and the sound is far better that the SD40-2f ones.
Question is How do you make the SD40-2f sound the same or better to make them about the same please? The sd's CV is turned up, which is 128cv, as far as it can go but you can't here them at all compared to the New SD30 ones. Some one sad to me to drill holes around the radiator which might make some difference, but has done nothing. Thanks in advance, Cheers Brian in New Zealand.. So the sound could not come out that way. Check out this old thread on how to modifiy the shell;
