Model Railroading > Early Westside GS6 for Train 19 (The Klamath)Date: 09/18/23 14:01 Early Westside GS6 for Train 19 (The Klamath) Author: superchief73 Its been 6 years and counting with this restoration. When i first purchased this Westside GS6 it had foam damage and a few loose pieces. i paid 125 buckaroos for the basket of parts. I had to redeem myself yesterday and get it close to completion. I remotored the engine with a Sagami 20X32 motor and added some extra castings. This engine is specifically built for my Klamath Consist and wears the #19 on the numberboards. Next weekend, after i swing by the hobbyshop to pick up a decoder and keep alive I will get the wheels turning for its maiden run!
