Model Railroading > Modelling SP Commute trains at CMRS.Date: 02/23/24 20:42 Modelling SP Commute trains at CMRS. Author: ATSF_SDF40-2 Although I was born to late to see these trains in action, since I grew up on the penninula Ive always been facinated by SP's commute operations.
First photo is SP 3197 with a little Donner soot from weekend warrior service. P30CH is an Overland models unit out for a test run. Still needs a little more fine tuning. Last photo is SP 6462. Athearn model that I added the nose door headlight in to represent its later apearance. All photos taken on the Carquinez Model Railroad Society layout in Crockett, CA.
