Got an email from Kalmbach this morning about FineScale Modeler magazine.  Is this a new publication?  Maybe it is a reincarnation of what Model Railroader used to be.  John

Isn't this the magazine for  enthusiasts of planes, cars, military equip. etc?  Is Kalmbach
buying this title or didn't they publish it at one time?  I believe a friend Paul Boyer used to
write for that magazine.

Since about 1982. Not monthly then nor now. An early editor was Bob Hayden, who was a noted model railroader. Cars, ships, and military for the most part.

Kalmbach would be smart to just make it an online magazine and provide a link for members to visit all the back issues as an archive like they do with their other mags.
