Checking Out New Toys
Author: grandroad

I just received some new LED flood lights and had to try them out. They are about the size of the palm of my hand and are battery powered which makes a lot less clutter when I'm taking photos. I, also, fooled around with taking the photos with my iPhone using the CameraPixels app. I don't think it produces as good stacking as Helicon Remote but I'm not very far up the learning curve.
The three photos are of the Terror Creek engine facility. The model railroad recently lost an ambassador, Dean Dickerhoof, who was an avid Union Pacific fan and N scaler so I included a UP ES44AC in the shot in his honor.
I hope you enjoy.

Nice looking photos and layout! Always sad to loose a dear friend in the hobby...
I believe it was Around The Layout Podcast that had a rewind episode with Tom Johnson recently and he talked about using an iPhone but still used Helicon.
