Sunshine on a rainy day?
Author: railstiesballast

If you are a model railroader you can make any day a sunny day.
Case in point:
Today is one more of a long string of rainy days here in the Cascade mountains of WA but on my SWP I set up an LED floodlight to bring in my own piece of sunshine.
Here is the eastbound BN intermodal through Cascade and into Tunnel 1.
The head end is a pair of F45s in their last year, their leader is an Athearn blue box.
An interesting pair of pigs.
FRED brings up the rear. This era had some 4-wheel pig cars and ahead of that is a set of SP double stack cars with high anchors, before they trusted interbox connectors.

Great pictures, but the first one is definitely my favorite.

I could not decide whether to post image #1 because of all that "sun" reflection on the windshield.
I'm glad you liked it.
All these are from my iPhone.

I think most of the rocks here are from Woodlands Scenic rubber molds.
What makes them look good is the bright "sun" and dark shadows.
In plain overhead room light they don't look like this, same as on an overcast day outdoors.
