would like to know if these newer proto units have the same ( cracked gear ? ) problems like the older proto units did. as always Tia for your responses. It has always had helical gears, but they can crack also. I have a Walthers version E7, which is a new body not the same tooling as the Life Like bodies and had four of six axles with cracked gears. Walthers supplied me with replacements.
