What is the current ETA for the C30-7 locomotives? I have 3 on order through my local dealer and he doesn't know when to expect them.

Ted Culotta is a great addition. The guy knows his stuff. Hope it works out.

First tooling samples just arrived with Bill last week. We'll be showing them soon and also announcing a final order deadline!

Our online delivery schedule says July-September, but realistically September is more accurate.

Here's the link for regular production/shipping updates on these and all other Rapido projects: https://rapidotrains.com/product-delivery-schedule

Sometimes there are third party batches of a particular paint scheme that doesn't get enough publicity, anybody know if there's a SP C40-3 no-lettering version of the yellow paint scheme out there ?

There were a number of small RR's that had second hand SP C40-3 's that had one off lettering. The Weyerhaeuser family of seperate logging RR's had a number of them, mostly different lettering. There's other examples, usually someone's favorite, but if someone is offereing a yellow no-lettering it would be interesting to know.

The design is just about done and they should be ready for tooling soon. These will certainly be worth the wait!

Who is the contact for the GP9us?? I notice that the options include an SRY GP9u in Washington Corporation colors. Was SRY 108 originally an MRL unit? I'd really like to see a modern MRL 109 offered. If this is an accurate posibility, it might be a popular option.

SRY 108 was originally a CP unit so matches the rebuild details of the rest of the production. Most of SRY's GPs trace their lineage through the MRL, but not the 108 nor 128 offered by Rapido; those are ex-CP.

Hey, just so happens one of the latest slide acquisitions from my latest Ebay haul netted one of the "UP" C36-7's.
