Model Railroading > Received My Rapido Conrail E8's TodayDate: 10/17/24 09:37 Received My Rapido Conrail E8's Today Author: kecarden Just received my package of all 3 units, took it out of the box and notice missing a truck speed record bearing on the front truck and the missing part is not even in the box, also the speed recorder is on the middle journal instead of the last journal on the truck in the rear, according to the photo. I did submitted a email to Rapido on the missing part.

Appear to be very nice models. By any chance, do you have a solo shot of the 4021? I am considering purchasing one and I would like to see the level of detail. I spent considerable time around them in Altoona and I would like to see the fidelity of the model to the prototype. For the cost of new locomotives, these manufacturers should get things right. They should also do a better job of quality assurance and not ship defective product. |
