On the Utah Belt 3500 model, what prototype trucks are those?  Don't think I've seen that style before.

Ten GP40X were delivered with an experimental HT-B truck design that became an option (but never used) on the production GP50, including 6 for Union Pacific and 4 for Southern Pacific.[1] These trucks were meant to improve locomotive adhesion. The remainder rode on Blomberg trucks.

Forgot my stuff. Same equipment I bought to Bridgetown. The RPM show format is a great venue to meet fellow modelers and share ideas. A fun time anywhere!

It was better than last year. Hopefully as more people learn about it, attendance will grow. Tucson is location next year. Any modelers on TO from Arizona interested? 😉

lots of beautiful models here & I am definitely a fan of the Utah Belt.

would I be right in thinking that SD45X is not the recent production model, but a kitbashed unit?

Scaletrains new release with SP on the nose making it a later era (70s') weathered
Kurt Swanson did a nice job on that what if GP40X Utah Belt.

Yes, it's one of his 1950 wood loads cut in half to represent a 1970s style load.

Jason decided to save me from cutting my fingers off with my mini chop saw and just this month is producing a half load as seen on my wheels of time 62 foot flat car. He had kits during the convention and sold a bunch to attendees. Check his blog. I appreciate him doing these loads as it is a unique load that catches your eye 👁️.

Photo one is the new load
Photo two is one of the three Wheels of Time cars I did with this load.
