Model Railroading > Perryville, MD Train Show

The Perryville Chapter NRHS & RR Museum Group hosted its first ever train show this past weekend at the well known Perryville MARC Station in Perryville, MD.  A formerar PB&W/PRR station, it is now a regional MARC train station.  This location is also home of the Perryville Wye where NS trains from the north and south can head to Harrisburg, PA and vice versa.  The show was a great success and the station's model railroad exhibit was also open to the public in conjunction with the annual Model RR Open House circuit that takes place in November.  While the station is extremely small for a trainshow, it was packed with all sorts of RR related gear from model trains to apparel to railroadiana.  The weather was great and there were times to pause as Amtrak trains whizzed by outside and multiple NS trains come on and off the Port Road branch at the wye.  As a vendor myself, this made the day very enjoyable.
