Does anybody make soldering irons with interchangeable handles, heating elements and tips like Radio Shack used to sell? Thanks

For several years now, I have been very pleased with the performance and usability from my Hakko FX-888D soldering iron.   Parts are avaialble separately for it, including a wide range of tips.  This is a very solid choice, at least for me and many friends who have purchased this model.  There may be newer models now, but this is the one that worked for me.

Cheers,
Harry

I have a trusty Weller soldering station with adjustable heat and interchangleable tips.

I used to use Radio Shack soldering irons.  More recently I bought a Weller Pencil soldering iron but it crapped out after a couple years.  My wife bought me this one off of Amazon that has variable temperature and it's been great so far.

Thanks all, but I’m looking for the type that you can screw different wattage heating elements into the handle and put different tips on. I have a couple that bit the dust, but the handles are still good and I have plenty of spare tips. This kind

I have a newer one, but my old Radio Shack unit from 40 years ago still works, but I don't solder a lot anymore, but I miss the Shack. If you needed something RIGHT NOW, they were there! 7000 locations!

I have this one from Harbor Freight and have been impressed so far:

Also an 80 watt one.

Both models have interchangeable tips.

Do a search for Weller solder element 45w.
Looks the same as mine (same as above).

I have two weller soldering stations, power pack with the soldering iron attached it uses different tips to change heat temp and also there are different styles of tips. Some small and large pointed same with chisel style ones works great and not that expensive off of ebay used either. I use them to do all types of work from soldering track joints to very small work on wiring for engines.
