Model Railroading > Frateschi HO G12Date: 11/28/24 18:56 Frateschi HO G12 Author: CPR_4000 I've read that some Frateschi (Brazil) engines are out of scale. Anybody know how the G12 stacks up? Too big? Too small? Just right? TIA!

The Frataschi hood was a much wider width, maybe because of the motor size. I'd look at overhead and end views of the Frastechi model to see what you think.

I've found a G12 for cheap and if it's decent, I'll buy it and paint for CN, which had two. OTOH I'm not so interested that I'd invest in a resin shell and everything that's involved in that. Oh well, would have been neat but it's not a priority.
Edit: In a DM, Pedro gave it a thumbs down. Thank you! Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/29/24 16:56 by CPR_4000. |
