Frateschi HO G12

I've read that some Frateschi (Brazil) engines are out of scale. Anybody know how the G12 stacks up? Too big? Too small? Just right? TIA!

Not quite the same, but I got a Frateschi G22 and it was so clearly out of scale (overly large) that I got a resin kit from Brazil instead. The Frataschi hood was a much wider width, maybe because of the motor size. I'd look at overhead and end views of the Frastechi model to see what you think.

Appreciate the link. I think Pedro had commented in the past about Frateschi engines. I've PM'd him.

I've found a G12 for cheap and if it's decent, I'll buy it and paint for CN, which had two. OTOH I'm not so interested that I'd invest in a resin shell and everything that's involved in that.

Been comparing photos of the model with the CN units. The hood looks too wide at the very least. Oh well, would have been neat but it's not a priority.

Edit: In a DM, Pedro gave it a thumbs down. Thank you!
