The CMRS Giant HO layout on the historic building's 2 level and
Toy Train Society's S, & O gauge layout on the 3rd level will be
holding open houses next weekend.

Here are a few from the Toy Train Group on the 3rd Floor.
Located,in Crockett, California
If one gets bored with the minature, a few blocks drive west
allows you to experience the real think on the UP Cal P.
mainline with frequent Amtrak short and long distance trains as well
as freight.

That sure looks like my 5018…
I ran it there earlier this year, and pulled the club’s refer block too. It’s an older Westside. I converted it to DCC- I squeezed a sugar cube speaker into the smoke box and she sounds pretty good!

Ha, yeah, the SP 4-10-2’s are far more successful as a model than as they were as a prototype! They’re handsome and the 3 cylinder beat sounds nice, but they spelled trouble for the SP mechanical forces and bean counters.
