Wondering how it will MU as have been told that the 4qd controler will not allow three units, why I dont know but was told the same about hydraulic units also. Been in the large scale hobby for quite a few years only exception to those statements were computer controlled ones many years back. Date: 12/04/24 08:54 Re: I Want To Buy A Used Super Mac Loco Author: donnerpass I pestered Cannonball for some time about MUing Super Macks. They finally asked me to design the electronics to do so and in return they offered a free Super Mack. I did so, and provided them with the design. I calculated that my design would work with up to 50 Super Macks, but I tested it with 5. Two were actual Super Macks and 3 were breadboards complete with motors and Pro-120 controllers. You are right, the Pro-120 controler was designed to support only 2 locomotives in MU, so I took a completely different approach. My two Super Macks have been working together with my design for many years now. I would like to add a third.
