Model Railroading > Tsunami QuestionDate: 12/01/24 12:51 Tsunami Question Author: skokieswift Hello Group:
Do I have it correct that CV29 controls direcction settings? I had two locos that recently "decided" that forward on the throttle means reverse in reality and I would llike to correct that. Thanks, SkokieSwift Date: 12/01/24 13:32 Re: Tsunami Question Author: ChrisCampi You certainly can. Or you can reverse the motor leads. Some roads run long hood forward, so you want to check that.

Fritz in MD Date: 12/02/24 17:33 Re: Tsunami Question Author: M-420 Easy stuff:
If your DCC controller can read CVs, then read CV29. If the value of CV29 is an even number, add 1 to that number and write that new value back to CV29. However, if it is an odd number, subtract 1 from that number and write that new value back to CV29. e.g. if CV29 is 10 change it to 11, but if it is 9 change it to 8.
