I have a Rapido 44 tonner (DCC & Sound) that really does not seem to be able to pull more than 4 or so free-rolling cars. Is anyone having issues with the pulling capability of your copy of this model? Can anything be done with these to improve traction and pulling capability? Couldn't find it on the Rapido website, but it's on the Tube that shall not be named, title is "Can Rapido's 44 tonner actually out-pull the prototype?"

I could easily see pulling eighteen on a straight and level track although the prototype would really struggle trying to do that. From my experience, the model outpulls the prototype.

Author: M-420 I re-gauged one of them to run HOn3 and running it on a my friend Burr Stewart's layout, I was easily able to pull a nine car passenger up the 2% grade on the narrow gauge portion of his layout.
