New and interesting F3 diesels now available from Bowser
Author: superfleet

Bowser is offering many new HO F3 diesels, some of which I have never seen available such as the Union Pacific and Rock Island F3A cabs with the large snowplows on the nose.  I have never bought anything made by Bowser and wonder how these F units stack up to today's standards, does anyone have an opinion they wish to share?  Thanks,

Dan

They do not use etched stainless grills so they get a mark off for that.    Also the old Stewart F nose has nice obvious mold part lines on it.   All in all they make a nice loco but it is simply not quite as nice as a Genesis or WAL/PRO unit.
