Date: 06/04/04 04:18 Re: finish coats Author: BL2 Scalecoat dries to a smooth shiny finish. You can aplly decals to directly. You do not need a gloss coat. However it is solvent based and you need to protect yourself. Have used it for 20 plus years with great results.

A lot of people have turned to the acrylics, but I still prefer the finish of the Scalecoat products over any other paint out there.
