Rock Island SDP75F (by request)
Author: rrnut_99

Well, the SD60F finally evolved into the SDP75F. It's a 4300 HP passenger locomotive with HEP. Basically a passenger version of EMD's SD75. What do you think???

I, for one, am GLAD and thankful that RRNut99 and GP74444 take the time out of their busy lives to do this nice work. These two have brought a lot of enjoyment to a lot of folks.

Have any of you seen a drawing of a GE P30CH? There's another one that would look good in the passenger Rocket Scheme. But...I may recall somebody telling me they hadn't yet seen a P30 drawing...

Thanks Red. I really do think people are enjoying gp7444's work, and mine as well. After all, requests usually keep coming in.....lol

I'm having a blast creating them as I have time.

Regarding the P30CH drawings. I'm was working on them, but I misplaced my notes with all the measurements. As soon as I locate them, I'll be finishing it.

The Alco C855 looks sweet in RI paint! Too bad one of UP's 3 Alco C855 locomotives weren't saved. I believe 60, 61, and 60B were all scrapped in 1971.

I feel the same . I do this to relax at the end of the day and most dont take as long as some people think. as long as there are drawings and i can see there will be paint!

Just a hobby within a hobby! Best part is they don't have to run to the hobby shop to pick up that little detail part that just went flying across the room at 5:45 pm and the shop closes at 6pm!(Rats! it's a 30 minute trip and the price of gas won't allow me the leisure of a nice drive anyway)
Isn't this what the hobby is about? Sit back and enjoy doing something that you like to do. It's 0125 here in the lovely midwest. Think I'll go downstairs and see if I can find that part (again!)

Barnum & Bailey Bros F40PH for FJC
Author: Red

GP74444:

I suspect that your rendition of the "Barnum & Bailey/Ringling Brothers" circus F40PH that I'm sure FJC will get a kick out of...if only they can find it...will be posted on many, many crewroom bulletin boards by railroaders across the US of A!!! LOL!!! With various captions underneath. "New paint scheme and name for ******" (take your pick of Class I roadnames!!!). Me...I won't name any candidates for this treatment! My lips are SEALED!!!
