Nice! Just put the camera on the other side of the unit, next to the window, and voila.. a nicer picture.

Cheers,
Harry

Not too much longer. I have a pre-production M420R sample and it's sweet. Hang in there and you'll have your 420

Fortunately I have a backlog of Kaslo products on my workbench to keep me content. Would be nice to have a decent sound module to go with this one, the latest Atlas frames have provision for sound. Anybody going that route?

What are you doing with a P&W unit?

Very nicely finished model. Good photo even if on the "dark side". As tracktime said, it would be better if taken from the light side to let the outside light be on the model.

Pre-production sample only... Just checking out the product at this time... It's just a fine model and I thought I'd say so....

I am not a P&W guy..

Can you provide a picture of the pre-production unit? Email pic? Any help would be great! I have 8 units total on order for the M420's and the M420R's, since our RR runs both. We are waiting to see how these are!

My P&W will become one of the three Iowa Interstate M420s, what they were one iteration before their new home on the SRNJ. Nice that they will soldier on!

Drop me a line at elclip1@msn.com with your email address and I'll kick out a couple shots of the model for you. It's a honey by the way. Not a shake the box kit, but when it's done, you'd be able to sit it next to one of the OMI M420's without hesitation. (It'll run better than the OMI to boot)

Brian,
Is John doing anything different on the HO chassis plans now that Atlas is doing HO scale B23-7 & B30-7 chassis?

Here are a couple shots of the M420R kit from Kalso Shops... I know that they were not happy with some of the etched grills and had them re-run and that was one of the delays.

E-mailed John W at Kaslo Shops a similar question, with the thought of a sound unit he's going to check it out. He simply said the M420W shell was not designed for those frames but there may be common dimensions. Anybody finds out please let us know, chug-chug-chug!!
