The delay information that Amtrak posts for its trains is now being captured and recorded in each train's status file. To obtain it, just click on a train's symbol on the maps or bring up an archived train's file.The delay information is at the bottom of the page.

I think they still may be working out some of the bugs, as there was a delay listed for train #7/27 that doesn't make a lot of sense. But overall, this is good to know, and could be very valuable information. Knowing delays (largely through Amtrak Twitter Alerts, no disbanded) helped me plan my trips before, after, and during travelling!!! There's also now a link to the PDF schedule for each train. So some interesting upgrades here.
