3 Photos-Fox Chase Fun On A Friday Night
Author: PC1073

The Fox Chase Station is the terminus of SEPTA's Fox Chase Line, and an ex Reading Railroad branch.
So, I was eager for the opportunity to photograph the new (ish) Reading Heritage MU st the station in
the dark of the evening.  It's all of a 3 minute drive to the station for me, so no excuses were available
to not do it.  All at Fox Chase Station, (Northeast Philadelphia.)
Enjoy the images, folks.

Good catch, PC,  of Heritage unit #280, "Reading Lines."
Is there a matching "Penn Central" Heritage Silverliner?

As you may know, SEPTA's Fox Chase line once continued
beyond the yellow bumpers another 15.2 miles to Newtown,
Bucks County, PA. Foolishly, SEPTA discontinued service in
1983 and recently converted the ROW to a bike trail, but that
is a separate thread for another time.
