Passenger Trains > Speed - A slightly different perspective...Date: 10/15/06 15:49 Speed - A slightly different perspective... Author: AndyD Some great stuff so far everybody. And only half way through the first day of the contest...
With only a few exceptions, everything I've seen so far has been outside shots, so I figured I'd look through my photo archives (all three years worth...), and try to find something from a different point of view. Took this picture while riding the Coast Starlight up to GorgeRail earlier this year. We were running a good five hours down at this point and the sun was beginning to go down as we descended the Cascade Range. If memory serves, we had just come out of a siding near Lookout Reservoir as I took a few pics along the corridor of my sleeping car.
