Does that mean it sounded good at first? Date: 11/10/06 13:38 Re: Oakland Amtrak Manager Charged in Bribery Case Author: smitty195 That's how I read it as well. "Yeah, sounds like a good deal dude. Hmmm....maybe not. I think I'll cal the FBI".

Date: 11/10/06 23:24 Re: Oakland Amtrak Manager Charged in Bribery Case Author: topper Was it an Amtrak manager running the train that had the Red Block violation (and almost a head-on collision with an opposing Amtrak train) at Ozol last Wednesday?
Reason I ask is 'cause I heard that the "San Joaquins" are being run by managers due to the "Merced issue," although I also heard that one "San Joaquin" turns actually has an engineer - I think he's a supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind. Unhappily, no. Although on at least one occasion there was one manager piloting another via cell phone while both were operating locomotives. >Reason I ask is 'cause I heard that the "San Joaquins" are being run by managers due to the "Merced issue," although I also heard that one "San Joaquin" turns actually has an engineer - I think he's a supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind. You won't believe . . . Get ahold of me via RDF (alert has been sent to the Great Frozen North) . . . talk about Long Day's Journey into the Roundhouse, As the Turntable Turns, The Guiding Headlight, and The Young and the Unemployed, all brought to you without commercial interruption . . . I thought I heard you up by Elvas Tower/Haggin a couple of days ago (and I don't mean the Ballerina artwork at WODS in the stall next to Joe Toilet Seat). Are you not working the Long Street (Drill Track) job anymore? Date: 11/12/06 13:11 Re: Oakland Amtrak Manager Charged in Bribery Case Author: topper InsideObserver Wrote:

I only recently found out who the culprit was. I'm still laughing. > . . I thought I heard you up by Elvas > Tower/Haggin a couple of days ago Nope, not I. I never venture far from my hole. As an aside, Garrett is my new hero.
