From the Window of a Train: METRA IC

Just a few shots from the METRA Electric, all taken on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007. Report on new railfan platform at Homewood, IL, will follow later on "Railfan Reports."

1) Soldier Field under attack by flying saucer.

2) What one finds at the University of Chicago.

3) The Pullman Company works in Pullman, IL.

I don't know the area at all, but the tower looks like a firefighter training tower.

That tower is in Harvey IL...It's long abandonded...I don't know its former purpose
