Passenger Trains > Has the Palmetto been running??Date: 01/23/08 11:15 Has the Palmetto been running?? Author: TrainChaser I've noticed the past few days that I haven't heard #90 coming north in the mornings, although #89 has been coming through. Are they using this for the Safety Patrol Train. Only reason I ask that is that a friend of mine has seen a NB Amtrak train pass through at around 1AM for the last few nights with the Palmetto consist. He says he thinks it was a P-978 or something like that? Seems kinda wierd because I know that they have been using #98 and #92 for these Safety Patrol Trains too.
