Passenger Trains > Caltrain Work Extra Provides a Hint of XmasDate: 10/14/08 16:31 Caltrain Work Extra Provides a Hint of Xmas Author: shed47 With 30 minute train frequencies between the rush hours Caltrain tends to run most of its work extras late at night or on the weekends but did manage to squeeze in an extra southbound today out of San Francisco running on the blocks of train #150. MP15 JPBX503 led up the eight car train made up of three flats, three sidedumps, and the two flats dedicated to Caltrain's annual Christmas train. The train was headed for Redwood Jct. where the last two cars, just as in past years, will be spotted out at the Port of Redwood City for fitting out and decorating for the holiday season charity train. Seen along Caltrain's four track main through CP Brisbane this afternoon at 13:25.
