Any word whether Amtrak will borrow equipment?

Is there any word on whether or not Amtrak borrowed commuter equipment yesterday or will do so again on Sunday to help protect the extra schedules?

TIA and happy thanksgiving

3000 series trains in the NEC Thanksgiving Holiday timetable will usually be borrowed equipment.
I've seen MARC, VRE, and NJT equipment in recent years in Maryland.

The Capitol Corridor borrowed a set of Caltrain Equipment to run one round trip between San Jose and Sacramento yesterday.

That would be pretty cool to see a caltrain set travelling that route, especially over the bridge in Martinez

In the past, I've seen Metra commuter cars on the Pere Marquette service trains.

On Sunday only the NEC will have two MARK trains and two NJ Transit Arrow III mu trains working as 3000 series trains between New York and Washington.
