You’ll be amazed by the spectacular gorge and forested coastal islands that will appear in your window!
Day trippers and serious backpackers like to hop on and off the train to experience the charm of communities like Qualicum Beach or Chemainus, or strike off into the depths of the rain forest in Pacific Rim National Park and the West Coast Trail. Train departs Victoria station at 8am - - - a great trip I might add......... We took the train north from Victoria, and then took the bus from Nanaimo to Vancouver, via the ferry. It was a few blocks walk when we did it, but the whole thing was dirt cheap. The bus depot in Vancouver was near Pacific Central station / Skytrain Date: 07/06/09 12:04 Re: Victoria Island Passenger service Question Author: reindeerflame Lackawanna484 Wrote:
