Heads up Chicago - Amtrak 6 out of Iowa with UP 1989 le

As posted before on here but train departed Burlington, IA about 2pm with the 1989 leading two AMTK locos and the usual train.... 1989 is still nice and clean!

Thanks to the UP for letting me get out on a sunny day and shoot some film today!

Departed Galesburg about 3:07pm.

The "heads-up" messages must have worked.
The Museum webcam showed several railfans with cameras in their paws.

Let's see the shots from my home state of IL! Gosh, almost as much excitement as steam running--beautiful loco!
