Passenger Trains > Mini CZ yesterday in Portola

As I mentioned in this thread a couple days ago...

...the folks at Portola's Western Pacific Railroad Museum took four of the museum's Budd cars and combined them with the three visiting former CZ cars to make a small "California Zephyr" pulled by WP 805-A, 925-C, and 917-D around the balloon for guests and photographers. The chant of the A-B-A set of 567s followed by a string of fluted stainless and domes brought back grand memories of the Silver Lady to many of those who witnessed the run-by.

Here's a few shots of the pass, including one of the tail end passing through the trees that includes a few Photoshop edits I thought added interest to the image.
