Maybe, just maybe Sunnyside is acting up again
Lakeshore left Penn Station 1:03 late this afternoon
and its not freezing winter weather

And in Chicago the Capitol to WAS is currently listed
as not having departed 50 minutes after scheduled
departure

On the other hand, what does Sunnyside have to do with a Boston-originating and a Chicago-originating train?

:))

Then again it's been a long time since the Star originated in Boston. My comment about SSDY was regarding that train :)

Lake Shore from Boston is a stub section attached to the NYP
Lakeshore at Albany . #449 was not running yesterday because
of a bridge being replaced in Westfield.

2 of 4 sleeping car trains originating in NYP departed over an
hour late. 50% is a high number.

Yes, Sunnyside does not handle the Capitol but it left Chicago
yesterday 1:19 late. In very bad weather one might be more
understanding but it does seem odd that so many trains left
late.
