Passenger Trains > Does anyone know the results of the test??Date: 10/12/10 11:42 Does anyone know the results of the test?? Author: edsaalig This photo was taken in November of 1970. This was stenciled on the side of UP 928, E-unit. The 928 was on the Eastbound City of Los Angeles. The photo was taken at the Pomona station. Does anyone know the results of the paint test???? Or better yet why and what was tested??

Author: COFLZephyr Maybe someone with more knowledge will jump in here but to my knowledge Imron became the standard for the UP Armour Yellow color and might still be the product used today as it is still available. This might be a very significant little stencil in the history of UP paint.
