Someone needs to make him aware of the fiasco that happened today to the passenger on The Zephyr in Nebraska. If it happened the way it was reported, that sounds much worse than the situation with the TSA in Savannah. If they have a specific threat to the train, I would say any search is justified. If not, it can at least wait until people are awake! Hopefully someone with the proper contacts can make it happen. Of course the Amtrak police chief probably doesn't have any authority over the local police since it isn't a federal issue as with the TSA.

Drudge has the Trains link up on his website and I suspect it is crashing the Trains server as it no longer connects but gives time outs.
