Passenger Trains > two Amtk heritage units on #5 today

1)approaching Hwy.2 overpass E.of Denver.

2)Pulling out of Irondale after a brief stop to get a new conductor which allowed me to catch up w/it again.

3)Finally lv'n Denver area at Tennyson Blvd.after nearly a 2 hr.delay to wait for our VP's motorcade. Official delay time was 1 hr.48 min.added to the already late time for #5. Had they squeaked by Prospect Jct.before 10am they wouldn't have been further delayed but official pull time out of DUT was 9:58 and as Kevin mentioned, Prospect Jct.is less than a mile away so they barely missed it.

Amtrak 66 resembles the last paint job on the Amtrak E-60 units. Put pantographs on the roof, and it would be a close visual resemblance if you ignore the last few feet

Nice, I checked to see the expected arrival time in to SLC and it's something like 2am. Guess I won't be trying to get any photos.
