Passenger Trains > Haulin A--Date: 11/13/11 16:02 Haulin A-- Author: Latebeans According to the Amtrak web sit #8 made the run from Milwaukee to Glenview today in 53 minutes for the 68 miles. Left MKE at 350pm arrived Glenview at 443pm and 505 into the big C. 75 minutes total. Not the TGV but at least like the Hiawathas of yore.

Making it from start to finish for an average of 77 mph makes me wonder if the speedometer was slightly off.
