Yea I noticed it pulling in early yesterday and also noticed that it and the departing builder both had 3 engines. Anyone know why? It seems I've been seeing and hearing about 3 engines a lot lately.

From what I've read, BNSF requires Amtrak to have 3 in the winter to avoid any issues in the mountains.
