#11(17) For Central Coast CA folks that track such thin
Author: jdb

Most of #11(17) was not turned in Seattle and is running backwards. Something(?) was wrong with the turning facilities in Seattle. Both units on #14 were headed north so they are running backwards on #11 with BNSF5099 leading. The baggage car is where it should be, at the front of the train. The rest of the train is reversed with the coaches in the front behind the baggage car, then lounge, diner, Pacific Parlour, sleepers, and transition on the rear.

Running about one and a half hours late as it gets dark in Oregon. They might pull the BNSF in Oakland and add a forward facing AMTK engine.

This happened on Sunday, and the BNSF unit went all of the way down to LA. Hope this happens again

My source says this was due to a broken water main near the wye in Seattle.
