Empire Builders Still Detouring

What mundo said a few days ago was false, as I ran into the pilot engineer yesterday morning for #7 while doing my paperwork and having a job briefing. The pilot, said that they had a wash out near Devils Lake a few days ago and it'll be a little bit longer until the track is open...

Expect 7 and 8 to detour via the KO Sub (via New Rockford) instead of going via Grand Forks for a little bit more.

Unless they have wings, I don't see it happening. There's still washed out track.

they require a pilot if the Amtrak crew is not qualified on the detour route, as anywhere

How do you know there's still washed out track!

He's an Engineer for BNSF out of Minot, which is the crew change point on the west of the Devil's Lake line.
