Hard working RR ladies in Chicago. October 25th

Here are two ladies working passenger service this past Oct 25th in Chicago: one running Metra's Rock Island line out of La Salle St, and the other switching cars at Amtrak's coach yard--enjoy!

In my day women did NOT work, particularly on railroads. They stayed home all day, scrubbing floors and cooking for their lords and masters!! (LOL)
