A cold but sunny day in western New York greeted Amtrak train 48, the Lakeshore. Up front today was heritage unit 156, this unit has made several trips throughout New York state in the last week or so. Last week it made a few round trips on trains 63/64 from Albany/Rensaler to Toronto and headed west to Chicago this past Tuesday night on train 49. Here it is passing through Bergen NY, about 18 miles west of Rochester at 0945.
