NE Regional 194 - police activity?
Author: john1082

194 was approximately 30 minutes late leaving Washington this afternoon for points north. Crew made cryptic reference to unidentified police activity as the reason for the delay. Any solid information out there?

BTW, New Carrollton does not have any seating onthe platform - it is all downstairs.

Many Northeast Corridor stations don't have seating on the platforms.

Don't Have Seating:
Washington
New Carrollton
Baltimore
Aberdeen
Wilmington
New York
New Haven
And north of New Haven, I'll have to rely on someone else.

Do Have Seating:
BWI (not much; station doesn't have much either)
Philadelphia (didn't used to, but I think I saw a couple of benches on the platform recently. Might be wrong)
Trenton (in the enclosed waiting areas)
Metropark
Newark (in the enclosed waiting areas. Very little, though).

I hope others will weigh in on what they know about Northeast Corridor stations.

Metropark also has enclosed waiting areas on both platforms now.

Wilmington has seating on both the high and low platforms.
