#4 - 20 mins early
#6 - 1 min late
#8 - 1 hr, 1 min late
#22 - 2 mins late
#29 - 16 mins late
#49 - 10 mins early
#851 - 42 mins early
#58 - 13 mins late

Seems like it's always 4 early, 4 lates. The lates are usually quite a bit later than the early ones. I always figured that any LD train that arrives within 15 minutes of scheduled time is on time. I know there's a formula Amtrak uses to figure this. I just haven't looked it up but the longer the route the more time is allowed for consideration of On Time.

Thanks for posting. I'm taking a trip on #7 and #6 in February and your efforts helped me decide which way to go out and which way to return. I have to make connections on #50 and #8 consistantly runs later than #6. I'll have a "better" chance on the #6.
