Passenger Trains > Short, medium, or long in Big D .... choose your rideDate: 11/19/12 18:21 Short, medium, or long in Big D .... choose your ride Author: WrongWayMurphy Train 21, the Texas Eagle train from Chicago to San Antonio had a PV car between the power and the sleepers.
Seems the train was what I consider backwards with the coaches on the rear. Anyway #21 was stopped at Dallas Union Terminal today on its way to San Antonio and incoming were Trinity Rail Express train that shuttles the 34 miles between Dallas and Fort Worth. TRE train #2920 with F59PH pusher and two coaches (one of which is cab car leading), and a Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) red line train inbound from the Dallas suburb of Plano. Date: 11/19/12 18:24 Re: Short, medium, or long in Big D .... choose your ri Author: WrongWayMurphy Shortly thereafter #21 crosses the Trinity River having just left the station, on its way to Fort Worth.
Competitor Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 can be seen on the upper right, perhaps arriving in San Antonio before #21 completes the 34 mile journey to Cowtown Edited 1 time(s).
