Passenger Trains > PATH: Newark to World Trade to resume

The PATH trains in the NJ/NY area will resume service between Newark Penn Station and World Trade Center. Service to the World Trade and Exchange Place stations had been suspended since superstorm Sandy.

It's not clear whether the (temporary) service from Newark to 33rd street will continue. The usual service is Newark - Journal Square - World Trade, and Journal Square - 33rd, requiring an across the platform change for some passengers to 33rd.

No word on Hoboken service restoration, as far as I can tell.

Hoboken PATH is "Weeks from reopening". I've heard that new signal equipment will be installed.
