Looking for Amtrak AEM-7 Parts info
Author: mgwsy1978

I am looking for some info and detailed pictures of an Amtrak AEM7-AC and DC Dynamic Brake resistor grid. If anyone knows of a contact at Amtrak or has any blueprints showing dimensions that would be a great help too. I have searched everywhere and cant find what I am looking for. If anyone can help you can EMail me at MGWSY@aol.com or shoot me a PM.

Thank You

Mark G

Don't know too much about AEM-7s, but these:

are resistors. From the looks of them, NiChrome.

That is correct. Resistors with heat dissipation fins on them for air cooling.
