For anyone interested I,ll give the blow by blow as long as wifi works. I am in the Amtrak metropolitan lounge. No problem. Very friendly gentelmam. Obviously not the one who was negatively reported on a few months ago here. Amtrak needs more like him.

Thank you for offering. I, for one, would love to hear about what you experience. Here are a few questions off the bat:

How did the ticketing work?
Do you have an Amtrak ticket in addition to the Pullman fare?
Did you check your bags? If so, with Pullman or Amtrak staff?

Let me guess - with the substitute PVs there was no WiFi? Or you're just having too much fun to report in....

Pullman has provided WiFi in each car...been working great since we left Chicago...a bit spotty south of Memphis...departed Jackson at 12:15PM, WiFi working swell!

No amtrak ticket needed. Others have reported trip accurately. Only negative for me is lack of dome. Also track south of Memphis is very rough but that is not Pullmans fault.
