Passenger Trains > LD train departures from Chicago today (1/21)Date: 01/21/13 20:41 LD train departures from Chicago today (1/21) Author: Winnemucca Long distance Amtrak trains left Chicago Union Station today as indicated:
#3 - OT #5 - OT #7 - OT #21 - OT #30 - 48 mins late. Second day in a row this train has left late. #48 - 26 mins late #850 - OT #59 - 1 hr, 18 mins late 3 late train departures. Not a good day. Anyone know what might be causing this? Informed answers only. No rants please. Date: 01/23/13 01:01 Re: LD train departures from Chicago today (1/21) Author: amtrakwolverine 354 departed chicago 1 hour 45 minutes late due to frozen switches and a frozen train(no heat water or toilets) and took awhile to thaw out the train. the lake shore limited arrived 3 and half hours late due to bad weather and a cracked rail(we had to go no faster then 3MPH over the cracked area).
