Not sure if this is old or new information. My Bloomberg Businessweek arrived today with a nice Amtrak article accompanied by a under construction new Siemens electric.

The upgrade to 4G technology is nice but if they don't spring for dedicated bandwidth, the service will still be spotty on the NEC.

Where the line is close to major highways, service is adequate. The farther the distance, the worse the service.
